Nathan McGuinness (Founder, CEO & Creative Director of Asylum VFX) joined Double Negative as its Creative Director/Senior VFX Supervisor in early 2011. In the 13 years prior to joining Dneg, Nathan worked with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Tony and Ridley Scott, David Fincher and Michael Bay in a career encompassing a staggering 85 films: Including Unstoppable, Minority Report and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - for which he won a BAFTA and VES for Best Visual Effects in 2009. Amongst his many other award nominations, in 2004, his work on Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects. Since joining Dneg, Nathan has undertaken the supervision of all work in Singapore whilst working closely with Double Negative’s London office: ensuring that Dneg teams across two continents work seamlessly together on such major releases as Bourne Legacy, Total Recall, Les Miserables and Cuban Fury. Take this opportunity to find out more about Double Negative Singapore and our projects. Recent projects include The Bourne Legacy and Total Recall.
