As a listserver owner/maintainer, there are two main things you will typically do: add and remove users.
To do this, you must first register your email address with the LISTSERV system and set a password.
The email address you should use to register yourself is the same address that has been set as the owner of the list. That address is also typically the address that you are subscribed to the list with.
So, if I was the owner of the list mytestlist@siggraph.org, and I was registered on the list with the email address of myemailname@siggraph.org, I would register with the LISTSERV system using the myemailname@siggraph.org address.

Registering a LISTSERV Password on the Web:
Managing lists in LISTSERV requires you to supply an email address and LISTSERV password. If you are a list owner/maintainer, you should set up a password with LISTSERV as soon as possible.
Details:
1. Visit the LISTSERV page at http://listserv.siggraph.org and select Get Password from the navigation bar on the right.
2. Supply your email address.
3. Supply your desired password.
4. Supply your desired password again (for verification).
5. Click the Register Password button.
6. Check your email for a confirmation request from LISTSERV. You must respond to the
confirmation request before your LISTSERV password will be set. To confirm your request, either:
1. Click on the URL in the email message from LISTSERV which should result in an instant confirmation message
OR
2. Use your email REPLY function to send listserv@listserv.muohio.edu a message saying OK
Add a User to Your List:
1. Login to the LISTSERV system at http://listserv.siggraph.org
2. Select List Dashboard under the List Management menu.
3. Click the View option for the list you wish to add the user to.
4. In the box under the Subscriber Management area, enter the user’s email address followed by their name. Their name must be inside parentheses, as shown in the example. Both an email address and name are required to add the user.
5. Click the Add Subscriber button. The user is now subscribed to the list.
Remove a user from your list:
1. Login to the LISTSERV system at http://listserv.siggraph.org
2. Select List Dashboard under the List Management menu.
3. Click the View option for the list you wish to remove the user(s) from.
4. In the list of subscribers, check the user(s) you wish to remove. When you are done selecting users, click Delete Selected Subscribers. The user(s) will now be removed from this list.
