Sketches & Posters
The Sketches & Posters program provides a dynamic forum for new and thought-provoking ideas, techniques, and applications in computer graphics and interactive techniques. The program covers a broad spectrum of topics including digital art, design, science, engineering, and many more. It encompasses ideas ranging from academic research to industrial development, from practical tools to behind-the-scenes explanations of commercial and artistic work.
Sketches are scheduled oral presentations of about 15 minutes followed by Q&A in an auditorium.
Posters display visual materials in a high-traffic area within the convention center. Posters also offer scheduled sessions in which presenters are asked to appear at their posters for informal interaction and discussion with attendees.
Whether you are coming up with what-if ideas, developing new techniques, or using existing ones in novel ways, we want to hear from you. We encourage submissions from artists, animators, developers, and researchers from academia and industry, as well as independent work. We also welcome submissions from people who are submitting their work to Emerging Technologies, the Art Gallery, and/or the Computer Animation Festival.
We invite questions about Sketches & Posters. But please, before you send questions via email, review the Frequently Asked Questions. Your question may be answered there. If it is not, use this form to send your question to us.
