The brand-new Munich ACM SIGGRAPH chapter will be celebrating its launch in style on Sunday, 21 September, with a talk from computer graphics veteran Paul Debevec. Debevec is the Former Vice President of ACM SIGGRAPH, and is widely recognized as a leader in the field for his impactful research in photorealistic image capture and rendering.
The Munich ACM SIGGRAPH chapter celebrates their launch with a talk by renowned computer graphics expert Paul Debevec. Former ACM President Alain Chesnais will also be present, along with Chair of the ACM SIGGRAPH Chapters Committee, Mashhuda Glencross.

SIGGRAPH’s Computer Animation Festival celebrates its 41st year as the world’s leading festival of the most innovative and accomplished computer graphics. The Washington DC Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH is partnering with the Torpedo Factory Art Center to host the 2014 SIGGRAPH Computer Animation Festival in Alexandria, Virginia.

On Wednesday, May 14, the Toronto ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter will host an evening with Academy Award® winning filmmaker Chris Landreth. The event will include a screening of Landreth's short film "Subconscious Password," presented in partnership with the National Film Board of Canada.
The ACM SIGGRAPH NYC chapter's Twelfth Annual Industry Spotlight will feature animation and post-production facilities from the NYC metropolitan area. Presenters will share a bit about their company, show some recent work and discuss future projects. It's one of the chapter's most popular events each year.

How did the digital dinosaurs of "Jurassic Park" make their way into the ground-breaking movie in 1993? On the 20-year anniversary of the film, the digital artists who created the critters will come together in a panel that's sure to be memorable.

On Tuesday, October 29, the Toronto ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter will host a stimulating night of presentations and discourse on the Toronto computer graphics industry. In addition to networking opportunities, attendees will be treated to a screening of the SIGGRAPH 2012 Computer Animation Festival Electronic Program in Toronto's lovely theatre The Royal (608 College St). Post party at 10:00 p.m. at The Monarch Tavern.
