Qualifications
Applicants must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate, graduate, or vocational (except high school) students during some part of the 2009 - 2010 academic year, or alumni who graduated after 1 January 2006. Interns must plan to arrive in Yokohama no later than 4 pm on Monday, 14 December 2009 and depart no earlier than Sunday, 20 December 2009. Other arrangements for arrival and departure may be made by contacting the Internship Program Chair but may disqualify applicants from being accepted unless approved by the Chair in advance.
Applicants must be 18 years of age on or before 16 December 2009 to participate as an Intern. Interns must present a current, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport at SIGGRAPH Asia 2009 in order to receive their conference badges and materials. Students under 18 years old will not be considered for the Internship Program.
Applicants must be proficient in English, and all applications must be submitted in English.
All students and alumni, regardless of current discipline or area of interest, are encouraged to apply. No prior experience with the annual SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia conferences or computer graphics is required. We are looking for reliable, hard-working, self-starting, independent, enthusiastic students who are excited about the conference and who want to be among the next generation of industry leaders and professionals.
