1) How do I register as an exhibitor?
An exhibitor's application form is available in SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 website. Companies who wish to participate are welcome to download the form and return it to exhibits_asia@siggraph.org
Space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2) Are exhibitors charged a fee?
SIGGRAPH Asia charges exhibitors a price per sqm to exhibit. If exhibitors choose other promotional options such as Exhibitor Tech Talks or sponsorship entitlements, this will also be charged. A summary of participation options and exhibition sales prices per sqm is available here.
3) Are there packages for exhibitors to choose from?
Exhibitors can choose from four different presentation packages which include exhibit space and entitlements such as advertising and publicity. The entitlements within the presentation package can be customized to your marketing expectations. A list of presentation packages and prices is available here. There is a limited number of presentation packages and they are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
4) Are there participation options for non exhibitors?
There are different promotional options such as onsite branding and advertising, as well as program, networking and equipment sponsorship. A summary of promotional options and prices is available here.
5) I am not sure if the SIGGRAPH Asia exhibition is relevant for my company/institution. How can I find out more?
If you are a hardware or software vendor, this international event will provide optimal opportunity to market your innovative products and services to attendees from numerous digital media fields.

6) I am interested in sharing a booth with a partner company. Is it possible?
It is possible to share your booth with a partner company. You can be the main exhibitor and we will acknowledge the other company sharing the booth as a co-exhibitor. Both companys' name will appear on the fascia board, exhibition guide and website.
Exhibitor Badge and Conference Entitlements
1) How many Exhibitor Badges are we entitled to?
The quota established by SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 for exhibitor booth personnel is 6 badges for each 9sqm of exhibit space under contract.
2) How many full conference passes will I receive with my booth?
Each exhibiting company is entitled to a quota of Full Conference registrations, which entitles registrants to attend the entire conference.
Exhibitors Full Conference registration quota formula:
Total sqm x 0.08 = Full Conference quota.
Numbers will be rounded to the nearest whole number.
Example: 18sqm x 0.08 = 1.44
In this example, the exhibitor will be entitled to one Full Conference registration.

3) Can I pick up exhibitor badges for my colleagues when we are onsite?
Yes, this is possible and you will be responsible for passing the badges on to your colleagues upon signing out on their behalf. No entry to the hall will be granted to those without badges.
4) Can I pick up conference badges for my colleagues when we are onsite?
No, each registrant must pick up their own conference badge to verify their attendance to SIGGRAPH Asia 2011.

2) What is the maximum permitted height for my booth?
The maximum permitted stand height is 7m. Booth designs and construction will require individual approval by SIGGRAPH Asia. Refer to Form 6 of the Exhibitor Manual for more details.
3) When will the Exhibitor Manual be ready?
The Exhibitor Manual will be available on our website in July. In addition, confirmed exhibitors will be emailed a copy.
4) How do I order rental furnishings, electrical, internet, catering, lead retrieval systems, etc.?
The Exhibitor Manual consists of 2 separate attachments – Mandatory forms and Optional forms. This service manual contains all forms related to the rental of furnishings, electrical, internet, catering, lead retrieval, etc.
5) What information does SIGGRAPH Asia need if I am hiring my appointed contractor?
When the exhibitor-appointed contractor is not the Official Stand Contractor, the exhibitor is required to complete Form 6 of the manual. Details will be advised within the Exhibitor Manual.
6) Can our appointed contractor gain access to the exhibit hall on Tuesday morning, 13 December?
Yes, your exhibitor appointed contractor can gain access into the exhibit hall during setup hours as long as they carry a contractor badge.
7) Do I need insurance for my exhibits?
General insurance will be covered and handled by the Organizer. However, it is the responsibility of each Exhibitor to arrange insurance coverage for its own exhibits during the exhibition.
All Exhibitors are advised to arrange for "all-risk" insurance coverage from their origin country up to their exhibition booth including exhibition period and return to domicile, at their own cost. Exhibitors must ensure that they are fully covered by insurance and take out public liability and comprehensive protection.
Exhibitors are also responsible for making good any loss or damage to any item which they have rented or hired from the official contractors/ suppliers.
8) Will internet connection be provided?
Exhibitors who require internet connection inside the exhibition hall can place an order through the Internet form provided in the Exhibitors Manual. In addition, free wifi coverage outside the exhibition hall will also be provided.

2) Can delivery be made during exhibition opening hours?
No, delivery of exhibits and other exhibition stocks are not permitted during show period. Delivery of stock or replenishment may only be carried out half an hour before the start or immediately after the show opening hours. All deliveries should be made during the exhibition setup timings.
1) Do I need a visa/entry permit to exhibit at SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 Hong Kong?
With regards to whether an exhibitor from outside Hong Kong is required to apply for an employment visa/entry permit, it depends on the activities to be performed by the exhibitor in exhibitions/trade fairs. Generally speaking, if the activities to be performed are business promotions, and will not involve direct sale of goods or supply of services to the general public, or constructing exhibition booths, the exhibitor is not required to apply for an employment visa/entry permit.
While each application for an employment visa/entry permit is determined on its individual merits, an applicant should meet the eligibility criteria for entry for employment as well as normal immigration requirements before he/she may be considered for the grant of an employment visa/entry permit.

2) Does SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 offer special hotel rates to exhibitors and attendees?
Yes, SIGGRAPH Asia has negotiated with various hotels for special rates. Reservation forms will be available in July together with the Exhibitor Manual.
