At the inaugural Symposium on Apps at SIGGRAPH Asia 2011, the opportunities and challenges of mobile applications development will be presented to the global graphics community via the submissions received this year.

Expect to gain insights to the application of Augmented Reality on mobile phones and how it enhances the functionalities on mobile devices, GPU-centric programming, geo-location, development and marketing, as well as hardware extensions to smartphones.
